Somerset House, Melbourne, Victoria

In realising the possibilities of Somerset House, non-original structures were carefully removed with the existing footprint of the home reimagined and extended to create a more spatially active interior. The use of colour is purposefully softened, with an emphasis on materiality and texture. The overall result imbues a lightness and calmness whilst remaining inherently functional for family life.
