K5 Furniture is founded on caring for people and planet. We believe that living in harmony with nature is essential to who we are and what we do. Our ethos and that of our global partners, celebrates design innovation, craft, and sustainability. as an integrated whole, without compromising the health of the planet. Our products are designed to last a lifetime.
Established in 2001, K5 is a family business with a passion for excellence in furniture design and production. We provide furniture and lighting solutions from global designers and crafts people.
Our resolve is to make lasting contributions to design culture by collaborating with designers and partners on circular design and emerging materials to provide multigenerational furniture that has a positive impact on our global communities and nature.
K5 Circularity focuses on evolving our practices in collaboration with designers, crafts people and makers working in emerging materials and technology.
We practice a circular economy approach, working towards all products made from 100% sustainable materials, from renewable resources, where nature is regenerated, resources are circulated recapturing waste, and materials are retained in productive use, for as long as possible.
K5 Renew is our repair, takeback and renew program to extend the lifespan of K5 products with you and your community.
We follow the lifecycle chain from design, responsible material sourcing, manufacture, and distribution to our end-users, to repair, and reuse, working collaboratively to achieve best possible outcomes.
K5 Restore is our commitment to aligning strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals.
We support the mission of the United Nations Global Compact to mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders. In our operations and facilities, we aim to be restorative for people and planet.
In 2022 – 2023 K5 Furniture participated in the local UN Global Compact Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) accelerator program to share learnings and accelerate our progress to achieving the SDG12 Responsible Production and consumption and our SDG Ambition of 100% Sustainable Materials by 2030.
