In 2017, KFive launched the Boyd Collection - a study in stripped back elegance and comfort. To celebrate the launch of this collection KFive temporarily fit out the Boyd's Domain Park Flats lobby with his original designs. A wonderful memory for everyone at KFive and The Robin Boyd Foundation.
In 1958 Robin Boyd, a renowned architect, writer, designer and critic, designed a collection of furniture for personal use at the family’s Walsh Street home in Melbourne. This collection included a dining table, lounge chair, coffee table and a three seat sofa. Each, a masterpiece of crafted furniture, beautiful and functional, made from Australian hardwoods, covered with Australian wool fabrics.
Through a collaboration between KFive+Kinnarps and The Robin Boyd Foundation, the collection of Robin’s Walsh Street furniture pieces are now exclusively produced and available to the public for the first time through KFive+Kinnarps.
