CEO Erna Walsh Nominated for NAWIC Award - 2021

The NAWIC (VIC) - National Association of Women in Construction annual awards were held on Friday 26th March. I attended the event and it was terrific to see a room full of amazing women who were driven to achieve great things in an industry where women are the minority. K5+Kinnarps CEO Erna Walsh was nominated in the category for Business Woman sponsored by Downer Group. Erna together with husband Kearon Carr have been operating KFive Furniture for almost 20 years. Erna has delivered many, many notable projects during this time, looking after client groups such as Vicinity Centres, St. Basil's Aged Care NSW & ACT, Melbourne Cricket Ground, and Auckland Airport to name a few. Erna has also been instrumental in creating the Boyd Furniture Collection in collaboration with the Boyd Foundation. It was terrific to see all Erna's hard work recognised in her nomination. It must have been very hard to judge the winners for 2020 with so many worthy nominees.
